Frutstating new account policy: Each reroll requires a new account, as guest accounts are no longer available in HoYoverse games.

Takes too much time: The tutorial takes 30-40 minutes to complete before you can start pulling, largely due to unskippable story cutscenes.

Low drop rates: With a 0.3% to 0.6% chance for an S tier Character, you might spend an entire day rerolling without getting your desired result.

Limited initial pulls: You'll only have about 20-22 pulls available when summoning is unlocked, further reducing your chances of getting a specific Character. Also, the fact that you are guaranteed to get a S tier character in your first 50 pulls, not 20, makes this process even more frustrating. The chances of you pulling an S tier are quite possible in the first 22 pulls, but if you fail, you will have to repeat the whole process.

These are all the reasons why I think it’s not worth rerolling in Zenless Zone Zero. However, with the launch, HoYoverse is planning to be generous towards their players as they have announced, that they will be awarding 100 free pulls with Zenless Zone Zero launch. It is best to take advantage of this event while it’s still available.
