The streamer had his say on who he thought would be picked as the Streamer of the Year. He expressed his shock after learning that xQc did not win the title after the amazing year the French-Candian streamer had on Twitch.

"I am actually pretty shocked that xQc didn't win that last one."

However, the streamer was quick to point out that Ludwig himself had a great year of streaming. He told his viewers how he thought Ludwig had been a great contender for the award but admitted that he thought xQc would've won it. He said:

"Ludwig did definitely have a huge year for sure. But like.. I don't know.. it's xQc. Do you know what I mean?"

Shroud was spot on with his assessment of the two streamers. Both xQc and Ludwig have had a wonderful streaming experience over the past year. As of writing this article, Lengyel currently sits on over 79k active followers. The streamer hit an all-time high in January 2022 where he had over 96k active followers on his Twitch channel.

Ludwig, on the other hand, made use of the platform to create milestones and memorable events. The biggest one being his massive "subathon" that he had in March 2021. Ahgren's subathon started on March 14, 2021, and ran for over 30 days, having finally ended on April 13, 2021.

Ahgren also set the record for all-time concurrent active followers on the platform when he ended the subathon with a total of over 283k followers. Ahgren then left Twitch after a few months and signed a deal with YouTube where he streamed for the rest of the year, and continues to do so till today.
