After over two decades, Konami's psychological horror game, Silent Hill 2, returned with a new look on October 8, 2024. The original game was developed by Team Silent, a studio under Konami, and released in 2001. The remake was developed by the Bloober Team, as the original studio is now defunct. The 2024-released Silent Hill 2 remake also follows the widower James Sunderland visits the titular town of Silent Hill after receiving a mysterious letter from his deceased wife Mary, who claims to waiting for him there.

The game has been remade with the modernized third-person camera system and the latest technical enhancements. The game also features realistic graphics along with support for ray tracing will make the world of Silent Hill 2 feel more realistic than ever.
