Silent Hill 2: Jack's Inn Motel safe code revealed

The recently released horror-survival title Silent Hill 2 demands players to solve a ton of puzzles throughout the game in order to progress further. However, these puzzles can be a little tricky at times. As you enter Jack's Inn Motel in the game, you will need a safe code to obtain the gate key. For this, you will need to solve a puzzle.

What sets apart the remake version from the original 2001 title is the fact that the game has become more challenging. While this motel earlier just served the purpose of a checkpoint, in the remake, you need to figure out the safe code in order to access the gate.

It is worth noting that, unlike the Brookhaven Hospital's padlock code, the motel safe code is randomly generated, i.e it can be different for every player. However, solving the puzzle and figuring out the code is not to difficult, as you just need to figure out the formula.

Jack's Inn features a few Easter eggs to collect as well. But let's talk about the safe code for now. As you enter the motel alongside Maria, you need to make your way to room number 107. Enter room 108 through the window and then enter room 107 after breaking the connecting wall to your left. Here, you will find a toolbox memo with the puzzle written over it. This puzzle will have all the important elements of the equation in all caps.

Just read the puzzle a few times and you will understand what it means. The memo will mention a few elements that you need to add, subtract, multiply, or divide, to get the four digits of the motel's safe code. Once you solve the equation and have all four digits figured out, enter the code to finally unlock the safe. This will reveal the gate key that will allow you to progress further in the game.
