“Skill issue probably”: Fortnite community reacts to player’s mysterious elimination in Chapter 5 Season 3

Fortnite's offerings are spread far and wide, with players constantly finding new things that add to the game’s status of being one of the more special battle royale titles out there. However, among these elements, some tend to cause confusion among players.

Such is the case in a recent Reddit clip shared by u/APigsty, where the player can be seen donning the recently released The Employee Outfit in a solo match in Chapter 5 Season 3, navigating a top 20 situation. However, as they traversed the map, they were shot from a distance by an enemy.

While the player tried boxing up, they were unfortunately eliminated in a rather mysterious manner, leading them to question what eliminated them.

The Reddit clip ignited a flurry of reactions from the community about how the player got eliminated, with user u/Sure-Permit-9651 bringing the evergreen joke of skill into the conversation and jokingly stating:

Other Redditors took to the comments to give their own opinions on the clip, with u/marco-boi jesting about how the shield potion that the player drank must have been expired and eventually led to their demise.

Meanwhile, u/Mediocre-Award-9716 expressed how they would have been able to tell what gun the player was eliminated with if they had let the clip go on a little longer.

Redditor u/HereToKillEuronymous further reinforced this point, stating how the game tells players what weapon they were eliminated with after their death.

u/Fantastic_Search7300, on the other hand, theorized that the player might have been eliminated with the Nitro Fists since their structures were destroyed rather quickly.
