Solo Leveling Arise August 2024 update and maintenance schedule details

Netmarble is planning a new Solo Leveling Arise August 2024 update, which marks the title’s 100-day release. The update will be released globally on August 22, 2024. It will feature several 100-Day Celebration events, two new SSR Hunters and their exclusive weapons, Skill Runes, Blessing Stone, Sung Jinwoo weapon, a new Sung Jinwoo Job Change, and Guild System.

Additionally, Netmarble will introduce a new chapter in Reverse mode, SR Hunter Exclusive Weapon, and costumes. The update details were revealed via livestream on the title’s official Japanese (JP) YouTube account.

Here is the overview of the forthcoming Solo Leveling Arise August 2024 update:

1) Guild System

The Guild System will arrive in the Solo Leveling Arise August 2024 update. The guild will have a different lobby where players can interact with their Guild members and select a boss to fight. The first Guild Boss is Faftna, ruler of the desert. Players can fight the boss by forming a party with Sung Jinwoo and nine support Hunters.

The Guild System will also feature a daily login reward system. Players can log in to the guild daily to get various in-game items. One can also participate in cooperative missions with guild members to earn rewards. Moreover, the guild will also feature mini-games, in which players can compete with their guild members to aim for higher ranks.

The Guild System will also house an exchange shop, where guild coins can be exchanged for various in-game items and buff effects. Players can also get a new SSR weapon, True: Demon Knight’s Spear, from the shop.

2) New Sung Jinwoo Job Change

A new Sung Jinwoo Job, Shadow Lord: Ghost Guide, will also be available in the upcoming Solo Leveling Arise August 2024 update. Here are the conditions to unlock the new job:

• Reach 90,000 combat power
• Clear 35 stages in the Player mode of Battlefield of Trials
• Clear Chapter 15: Ghost Guide in the Hard Mode

Players will get the following rewards for job change:

• New skill: Sonic Stream
• New Skill Rune: Raid Cut
• 30 ability points
• New costume: Reaper

3) New Hunters in Solo Leveling Arise August 2024 update

Two new SSR Hunters, Han Se-Mi and Go Gunhee, will debut in the forthcoming Solo Leveling Arise August 2024 update. Han Se-Mi is a Wind-type Hunter with the ability to heal allies and her Exclusive Weapon is Coming of Age. Go Gunhee is a Light-type Hunter who belongs to the Tank class and his Exclusive Weapon is Faith and Mission.

4) New Sung Jinwoo Weapon

Netmarble will also introduce a new Sung Jinwoo dark-type Weapon, Edge of Obsidian in the Solo Leveling Arise August 2024 update. Players can get it from the Weapon selection pickup summon. It is a new type of banner featuring only Sung Jinwoo’s Exclusive Weapons.

One can select two weapons to boost their drop rate. Summoning on this banner requires different draw tickets.

6) New Skill, Skill Runes, and Blessing Stones

Here are the new Blessing Stones, skill, and skill runes for Sung Jinwoo arriving in the upcoming Solo Leveling Arise August 2024 update:

• Sonic Stream (New Skill): It deals damage equal to 1731.35% of Sung Jinwoo’s attack, cools down in 20 seconds, and consumes 234 Mana Power.
• Raid Cut (Skill Rune): When Sung Jinwoo inflicts the Airborne effect on enemies with no Break Gauge, it increases his damage.
• Wind Shroud (Skill Rune): Each attack hit grants the Wind Vein effect, which increases Sung Jinwoo’s attack power.
• Sonic Burst (Skill Rune): If Sung Jinwoo inflicts the Airborne effect with the final hit, his Core Gauge charges by 100%.
• Vile Slash (Skill Rune): Vile Slash’s damage increases by 250% for three seconds when Sung Jinwoo uses the skill linked with this rune. Upon successfully using the skill combo, it restores 200 Mana Power.
• A Sharp Blow (Blessing Stone): It increases Sung Jinwoo’s damage after performing Extreme Evasion.
• We Are One (Blessing Stone): Increases Sung Jinwoo’s attack, defense, and HP if two or more hunters of the same attribute in a team.

Here is the list of new events in the forthcoming Solo Leveling Arise August 2024 update:

• Lucky Clover: In this event, players must take a photo of clovers and obtain rewards based on the number of clovers in the picture.
• Treasure Hunt: The Treasure Hunt event will return in the forthcoming SLA update. Players can collect materials and craft new Hunter weapons via this event.
• Lucky Capsule: Players can get a free SSR weapon, Juicy Skewers, and Emma Laurent’s costume from the Lucky Capsule event.
• Rock Paper Scissors: This Rock Paper Scissors event will feature a new employee, Jian. Players can get an SSR weapon, Juicy Skewers, by defeating her 100 times.
• Boss Challenge: In this event, players must defeat the level 20 bosses that pollute the beach and get various rewards, including SSR weapons.
• Mini-game 1: In the first mini-game, players must build their Shadow Tank to the specified limit to obtain weapon upgrade items and capsule tickets.
• Mini-game 2: In the second mini-game, players must protect the 100-day cake from the swarm of monsters. It rewards Gold and capsule tickets based on the score players obtain.

In addition to the above, the forthcoming update will introduce a new Reverse Story Chapter, SR Hunter Exclusive Weapon, Hunter Archive Story, and Secret Library. Moreover, Netmarble will make balance adjustments to Sung Jinwoo weapons and Hunters.

Solo Leveling Arise August 2024 update maintenance schedule and compensation

Netmarble will perform closed server maintenance to roll out the Solo Leveling Arise August 2024 update. The maintenance will start on August 21 at 23:50, and end on August 22, 2024, at 06:00 UTC+0. As compensation, Netmarble will send the following in-game items to all players' in-game mailboxes:

• Essence Stone ✕ 500
• Gate Keys ✕ 2
• Weapon Enhancement Gear II ✕ 15

Players can claim the above-listed Essence Stones, Gate Keys, and Weapon Enhancement Gear rewards by logging in to the app after the maintenance concludes.
