Dungeon Breaks unlock when you reach level 5 difficulty or higher in the Solo Leveling Arise Gates game mode. It is purple and requires forming a battle party with Sung Jinwoo and three other Hunters to enter. You can get the following rewards by clearing it:
- Mana Crystals: Used for crafting items.
- Design: Used to limit the breaking of a weapon.
- Artifact Equipment: Hunters and Sung Jinwoo can equip this to boost their stats.
- Fire Melding Cube: Used for limit-breaking Fire-type weapons.
- Ice Melding Cube: Used for limit-breaking Water-type weapons.
- Wind Melding Cube: Used for limit-breaking Wind-type weapons.
- Dark Melding Cube: Used for limit-breaking Dark-type weapons.
- Holy Melding Cube: Used for limit-breaking Holy-type weapons.
- Traces of Shadow: Used for extracting or promoting Shadows.

There’s no sure-shot way to trigger Dungeon Breaks gates because the type of gates that appear are RNG-based. However, you can use the rescan feature to reset the existing gates until you get it. After rescanning, you must wait five minutes (cooldown period) until you can use the feature again.
How to clear Dungeon Breaks in Solo Leveling Arise
First, you must form a team with Sung Jinwoo and three other Hunters to clear Dungeon Breaks in Solo Leveling Arise. Then, raise your team’s total power to the recommended. The recommended Total Power is based on the gate’s rank and difficulty level. Those with higher rank and difficulty have higher recommended Total Power.
After entering a Dungeon Break, you will face a wave of monsters, and defeating them will lead to the Boss. You must defeat all monsters and the Boss to clear the gate. The Bosses are weak to a specific elemental type, so using Solo Leveling Arise Hunters and weapons of the stronger elemental type will help you clear the gate quickly.
Another way to clear them is by using the sweep feature. You can use a regular sweep to clear E, D, C, and B-rank gates. Clearing S and A rank gates requires activating the Special Sweep feature, which you must purchase from the in-app store.
