To those who’ve played Far Cry 4, you must have got extremely annoyed with the truckload of un-skippable forewords and introductions they throw at you at the starting of the game. But don’t fret people, for a solution has come up. As found by the people at Rock Paper Shotgun (RPS) , you can now skip all that with just a simple trick.
So here’s what the people at RPS suggested:
For those with the steam version of the game- “Find the game in your library, right click on it, and hit Properties. In the box that pops up is an option for ‘SET LAUNCH OPTIONS’. Click that, and in the field that appears, put in ‘-skipintro’ (without quotes, and no space)”. And voila! next time you start the game, you’ll land up straight at the options menu and no more forever-taking prologues of the game.

For those who installed from a disc - “You’ll have a proper desktop or Start menu shortcut. Right click on the icon or Start entry, and choose ‘Properties’. Here you should see a box called ‘Target:’, and in there a spiel that tells it where to find the game. On the end of it all, paste in ‘ -skipintro’ (again, without those quotes, and the space is important), and click OK”.
There you go. Enjoy exploring the hidden wonders of Kyrat!
P.S. On a side note, apparently this fix works for a majority of similar games with long and boring forewords. Check them out!
