Spectre Divide has been a neat addition to the FPS genre. Mountaintop Studio's tactical shooter takes a good amount of inspiration from popular online multiplayer games like Valorant and Counter-Strike while also providing some unique mechanics of its own. Because of this, many are slowly starting to see Spectre Divide as a true competitor in the online multiplayer scene.

While Spectre Divide provides decent and satisfying gunplay, it has also managed to give a few unique maps for gamers to play on. All of these have been given their own unique identity. This article will rank all the current maps in Spectre Divide in a tier list.

Commons

Commons is most certainly the best map in Spectre Divide. The map seems fair to both attackers and defenders due to its well-defined middle area. There are multiple routes for players to go through in mid to take control of either site. In a way, Commons encourages aggressive fights where players can enjoy the game's satisfying gunplay.

The map is also very pleasing to look at, with colorful buildings and graffiti all over the walls. It also provides some neat high points for your Spectres to take advantage of. The only missing thing in Commons is a unique feature of its own.

A tier

Skyway

Skyway is a decently sized map with the traditional two sites and a middle area. The map has a good amount of elevated areas for both attackers and defenders to boost their Spectres on. However, the middle section is where attackers will have to capitalize as the map seems to be quite defense-sided.

There are great crossfires that players can do with the Spectre feature on the defensive half. For example, they can fight A Main from both A Jail and A Island while being mindful of a push through A-link.

The most interesting feature of the Skyway is the green fast recall zone areas. Players will need to keep these in mind as these zones allow anyone to recall their Spectres to that location quickly. These can change the course of a match and will need players to keep control of it.

B- tier

Mill

Mill is quite a large-sized map. Like every other map in the game, it has two traditional sites and the middle section. While Mill also suggests a very strong defense side, attackers can tip the favors in their balance by taking control of the middle area. However, things become very difficult in post-plant situations as the Zeus plant area is very small, making it quite difficult to stall for time in post-plant scenarios.

Mill is also filled with great elevated locations that allow for a coordinated high-low peek on the enemies. The one feature that stands out the most in this map is how it has two sliding doors on the B site. These can be opened by pressing the prompted key. These are also destructible and can be broken using your guns or the Melee. Mill's vegetation-covered architecture might not be the best looking in the game but does make you curious about the lore of its world.

Metro

Metro is a relatively smaller map compared to others in the game. While the two sites are a bit larger, the middle section is quite narrow. However, Metro can be a very frustrating map for the attacker's side. The defense site gets a lot more room to work with easier sight lines, whereas the attack has to put in a lot of work to plant the Zeus.

The map also has a door that can only be entered through one side. However, this can't be opened by the players themselves and will open automatically once they are beside it. When it comes to the aesthetic, Metro does end up looking a lot more colorful than the other maps, especially due to the Sunset.
