Spectre Divide currently features three maps in the current closed playtest phase - Mill, Skyway, and Metro. The developer, Mountaintop Studios, has crafted these maps with various terrain changes and included different vertical angles for a dynamic gunplay experience. The maps are quite big as they will host a total of six players and 12 characters in their unique 3v3 matches with a double-body mechanism.
Mill is a long map and consists of various smaller alleys that lead to the middle section of the map. Some of these routes bring players to either bomb sites - A site or B site. The sites themselves are quite spacious and with various crates and structures that can be used as cover during gunfights.
This article will highlight the entire Mill map in Spectre Divide.

Spectre Divide Mill map layout and callouts
Defenders
The Mill map has opposite spawn points for both Attackers and Defenders. The Defenders have a more direct path to position themselves in the middle of the map through Crossing and Intake.
The team can also take up a more aggressive position by traversing to Banana and Window for Mid control. All the site routes are made in a way that makes it possible to place a Spectre on A or B while the player takes space on the map.
A similar tactic can be used to defend A site as well by taking an aggressive position in A-Main to fight for Ledge and Catwalk control. However, both these areas are guarded from the Attackers as shown in the minimap image with red barriers.
Attackers
The attacking team has three broad routes where one leads to the A-Site, one to Mid, and the other to B-Site. The squad can take up most space towards A-Site through Shed and Duct. Players can also choose to position their Spectres in these areas and take gunfights in Mid by holding down areas like Catwalk, Nest, and Underpass.

The B-site has two main entry points - Hall and B-Main. However, attackers would need to clear the site properly as the actual area where the Zeus can be planted is in a corner. It is best to take Mid control to ensure a successful plant and round win.
How to play attack and defense on the Mill map?
Defense
It is crucial to maintain Mid control as the area provides two distinct routes straight to the Defender spawn and both bomb sites. These can be used by the attackers to flank the defending team, so placing a Spectre near the corners of Crossing, Quad, or Exhaust can provide players with crucial information.
Players can choose to either play on either bomb site or take up a retake approach with the help of different Sponsor abilities.
Attacker
Taking away Mid control from the defending team will help the squad corner enemies easily and provide players with the choice to plant on either side. A Spectre can be placed to watch flanks while the active body is used to take map control and secure kills. This should be done for both sites and call for a map rotation whenever an elimination is scored.

Since the map is quite large, it would take the defending team a lot of time to regroup and fight back, providing the attackers enough time to plant the Zeus and position themselves for post-plant gunfights.
That is everything you need to know about the Mill map in Spectre Divide. As the game is still in its playtest phase, details are scarce. This article will be updated once more information is attained.
