Spectre Divide Weapons tier list: Best weapons for September 2024

Spectre Divide offers a total of 20 weapons including the melee knife. While the general recoil kick and gunplay of almost all guns are similar, a few from the arsenal perform better than others. However, the weapons that perform great in longer ranges might not be the ideal pick for close-range gunfights.

Spectre Divide has an arcade-like approach to the gunplay experience where players can Aim Down Sight (ADS) and shoot while moving around. The Sponsor's abilities also have a small impact on the pace of the game. But the weapons have a similar base which can make it difficult to choose when buying - be it a Sub Machine Gun (SMG), Light Machine Gun (LMG), or Assault Rifle (AR).

This article will highlight all the weapons from Spectre Divide in a tier list.

S Tier

Duster RX6

The Duster RX6 is the most powerful sidearm in the game and can effectively one-tap anyone with a headshot in most cases. Players can move swiftly with this gun equipped and inflict a lot of damage that can make it easier to win rounds. While the number of bullets in a magazine is limited, it compensates with its high degree of lethal force that can quickly erase enemies from the map.

Cyclone

The Cyclone is an automatic AR that has great potential in winning medium and some long-range gunfights. It is easily one of the most comfortable weapons to use in Spectre Divide and brings a familiar gunplay experience from different FPS titles.

Players can ADS while peeking around corners and also spray it in hipfire when taking close-range fights. Its damage output is massive and can get you a lot of kills - provided you hit your shots.

Berserker RB3

The Berserker RB3 is an unexpected weapon from the LMG class and slows down movement speed heavily. However, it compensates for this with a massive magazine and jaw-dropping fire rate.

This machine gun can do wonders for defending teams simply because of its dominating presence, which is almost impossible to dodge when funneling into bomb sites from cramped spaces.

Prototype-OP

The Prototype-OP is the signature bolt-action sniper that can take down anyone with a single body or head shot. It boasts high accuracy, but it is affected by even the slightest movement.

The sniper is best to use when holding long angles and corner angles which are usually not visible with ARs or SMGs. It also has high penetration power that can be used to wall-bang enemies through various covers.

A Tier

The Shiv silenced pistol, Whisper SMG and Blackout AR are placed in this tier because they have the potential to be great weapons and already output massive damage numbers. It can be difficult to operate some guns in this tier because of its learning curve, but can be rewarding when mastered.

The Tempest is one such weapon that can have a massive impact on the match with its whopping single-shot damage. It is capable of taking down enemies with a single headshot. The Crusader, Harpe sniper, and M67 Reaver have a similar story with high damaging potential but with a difficult handling experience.

B Tier

Buzzsaw RT40 SMG (Image via Mountaintop Studios)

The Buzzsaw RT40 has a good fire rate but fails to deliver in medium-range combat situations. The M18 Drummer shotgun can shoot out rapid pellets but quickly overheats which stops its spraying streak. Its range is another issue, but it can be an asset for the defending team when camping around corners.

The Trident is a burst AR that struggles with tracking since mobility is a big gameplay feature of Spectre Divide. The fire rate is low and it has a restraining magazine size that can put players in reload animations too often.

The M10 Brat is one of the most inaccurate pistols in the game. It is placed in this tier simply because of its automatic fire mode which can destroy players in close-quarter combat.

C Tier

M25 Hornet SMG (Image via Mountaintop Studios)

The M25 Hornet SMG feels lacking in damage even when taking medium-range gunfights. The M17 Bouncer single-shot shotgun is slightly worse than its automatic counterpart due to the fire rate. The M49 Fury LMG can be picked up for some fun in filler rounds but it is clunky and will potentially put you in more trouble, especially while trying to reposition around the map.

D Tier

Melee Knife (Image via Mountaintop Studios)

The Melee in Spectre Divide does not have a heavier attack, which is usually bound as the alternate fire. Instead, the game auto-detects when you are behind an enemy and launches the backstab attack with the same keybind. However, this is pretty difficult to pull off with a moving enemy, and you might end up performing a normal knife cut while they turn around and shred you to bits with their guns.
