What are Squad Busters End of Season changes?

Currently, there are only four worlds in the game (namely Green World, Desert World, Royal World, and Beach World), and Squad League at the end of the track. However, as Supercell announced the arrival of Ice World (a new world) in Squad Busters in the recent patch update, it is expected that it will be added to the Squad Journey Track in between Beach World and Squad League.

Here are some more details about it, as mentioned in the official post:

  • Players currently in the Squad League will remain at Squad Journey level 90.
  • Squad League levels will be increased to level 120.
  • Players will start playing the Squad Journey again to reenter the Squad League.
  • Players will get Portal Energy if they receive a duplicate of their max characters from the chest.
  • Players will start receiving XP from the Squad League.
  • They can also acquire Portal Energy from new character merges and book achievements. They can also get a maximum of 300 Portal Energy from daily battles.
  • Supercell also announced that trophies will be halved for the players with a cap of 4000 trophies. That means a player with 5000 trophies will begin the new season with 2500 trophies.
  • After the new changes, the Squad Busters leaderboard will now be available for every player from the start of the season.

While the developers announced that players will have to restart their Squad Journey to enter the Squad League, their Squad League level and rank will not be reset in the Squad Busters End of Season changes.
