The Squad Busters Optimus Prime Defender Troop is an Epic unit that can be unlocked from the current Transformers event. This troop was released as a result of the collaboration between Squad Busters and the Transformers franchise. Since Optimus Prime comes from another world, he has three forms: Baby, Classic, and Super, contrary to regular troops that have a fourth Ultimate Form. Notably, when the current event ends, the troop will occasionally appear in the shop.

Squad Buster Optimus Prime has high health and moderate damage. Being a Defender, he does melee attacks and is always present on the front lines absorbing damage for his allies.

Health: 6200
Damage: 140
Fusion Health: 15500
Fusion Damage: 280

This troop has 6200 HP and 15500 when unfused and fused, respectively. Therefore, Optimus Prime has the highest hit points in Squad Busters.

Abilities

In Squad Busters, troops unlock new abilities as they evolve into new forms. The abilities of Squad Busters Optimus Prime troop are as follows:

Baby Form: Gets larger with fusion.
Classic Form: Uses his Energon Axe to attack his enemies, after being damaged once. While using the Axe, his attack speed increases
Super Form: Optimus Primes heals his squad when taking damage.

Strategies for using Optimus Prime

Optimus Prime is a potent Defender, having the highest hit points in the game. However, he only deals moderate damage and requires some Attackers like Colt and Archer Queen in his squad for offense.

Optimus Prime has no healing prowess until he reaches his Super Form. Since he is always on the front lines during battles, he needs to have a Healer in the squad (like Medic and Battle Healer) when he is in Classic Form.

Since, Optimus Prime does melee attacks, having a Barbarian King will increase his attack speed. Additionally, this effect stacks with the attack speed buff given by the Energon Axe, increasing the speed of melee attacks.
