The video talks about some exciting changes set to arrive in the popular multiplayer title by Supercell. The developer has announced some new characters, a fresh Battle Mod, and more.

Squad Busters x Transformers update: New characters

Per the official video, the update will bring two new characters. While many in the community were speculating about the arrival of Transformers-inspired skins for specific heroes and some time-limited special troops, Supercell announced that Optimus Prime and Elita-1 would join the squad as new characters.

Players can collect Energons and progress through the event to collect Optimus Prime and Elita, the two new characters arriving in-game. However, the developer announced that characters from different universes will only have three forms, i.e., Baby, Classic, and Super forms.

The Transformers event will begin on Monday (September 16, 2024) and continue for two weeks (until September 30, 2024). Optimus Prime will be available to unlock in the first week, while Elita-1 will be available during the second.

Squad Busters x Transformers update: New Battle Mod and skins

The Squad Busters x Transformers update has also announced the arrival of a new Battle Mod. Per the official video, players will fight against the Autobots, the infamous bosses arriving in the "Unicron Attacks" Battle Mod. This mod will be available exclusively during the Transformers event.

Four new skins will also arrive in the in-game Shop. As predicted in our previous article, a set of Robot Skins for Archer Queen, Barbarian, Chicken, and Medic will appear in the shop. While the Battle Mod will only be live during the event, these new characters and skins will sporadically hit the shop.

Squad Busters x Transformers update: Star Keys and new character form

The Star Keys are returning in this update. Supercell announced the arrival of the Star Chest, which, as promised in the video, will only give great rewards. Opening the Star Chests will get you new characters or the Super, Ultra, or Ultimate form of the ones you already own.

Players can get a Star Chest by collecting Star Keys. The latter will be available when they collect the Star Tokens by evolving their characters. They can also earn Star Keys from other events. Supercell will be providing 10 Star Chests on Monday for free to celebrate the new feature.

One of these Chests will have a guaranteed Ultra of an already-owned character. Players might also get an Ultimate form of a previously owned character.

All characters from the Green World will receive their Ultimate form in this update. This new form will unlock a unique ability of these characters and a special skin.

Other balance changes arriving in the update

Battle Mods like Crystal Forrest, Hatchling Herder, and Timeout will receive new changes to maintain balance. The developer has also announced that Leon's invisibility is also getting certain adjustments to make it simpler.
