Square Enix did just release a trailer for a new Final Fantasy XIV fighting game. It features a fight between two rivals. Unfortunately for us the trailer is a fake.
Uploaded earlier today on the official Final Fantasy XIV YouTube channel, the trailer features a tense battle between characters Yda and Livia, otherwise a perfect recreation of the game’s final boss battle. Having seen the video if Ultimate Fight Final Fantasy XIV was an actual game, I am sure it would be a good one!

The trailer features a tense battle between two characters. The trailer is complete and boasts a fake character select screen, maps from locations in the game, and so on. Also if you go by the trailer, you will see that there are some pretty sweet round house kicks and special attacks to look out for.
This game however will not be seen anytime soon but I suppose like me, you too like the idea of another Final Fantasy fighting game. I hope Square Enix does not troll us again and while you are at it could you perhaps consider including Yda in the upcoming Dissidia?
