Stalker 2: How to complete the Uninvited Guests side quest

Uninvited Guests is one of many side missions in Stalker 2 and can be triggered while exploring the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone. This quest will see Skif tasked with retrieving a weapon that the quest giver lost after an ambush from the mutants. Upon completing this quest, you will be provided with a choice that determines the reward of your labor.

Finishing this quest can reward you with an artifact detector, some ammo, and medkits. Here is a walkthrough on how to complete the Uninvited Guests quest in Stalker 2.

How to complete the Uninvited Guests side quests in Stalker 2

Once you begin, explore the Concrete Forest region of the Cement Factory area. You'll then hear a plea for help from a man named Mytryk Genius on the radio. Head to the building next to the giant silos where you will meet him inside. Speak with him to start the Uninvited Guests quest in Stalker 2.

Mytryk will explain that he was attacked by mutants when he tried to access his underground stash. While he escaped the ambush mostly unharmed, he dropped his weapon in the process and needs it back (he offers you the content of his weapon stash as a reward). Once you accept the Uninvited Guests quest in Stalker 2, he'll tell you that the stash is under the stairs, beside the big opening.

Descend the ladder. Be ready with your weapon: as soon as you turn left, you will encounter several mutated rodents. Move ahead and you'll eventually enter a giant room. Take a right and descend. As you approach the far side of the room, 2 Burers will ambush you.

Burers are psychic mutants that can telekinetically pull guns out of your hands and use those lying around to damage you. Rush to the nearest cover. If you can, grab the weapons lying around to bar the mutants from using them. After killing them, move to the platform below the stairs located at the room's rear end to find a duffle bag behind the wooden spool.

This is the stash that Genius was talking about. You'll find the following loot inside it:

• 2 Medkits
• 14 7.62x54mm LPS ammo
• 2 RDG-5 grenades
• The Bear Detector

If you loot the body of a nearby corpse named Sashko Eight-Ball, you'll also acquire a PDA entry of Mytryk in Stalker 2.

Genius' Gun

Head up the stairs. As you enter the corridor, you'll find Genius' gun — The Decider — lying by the wooden crate. Proceed towards the corridor and at the far end end, you'll encounter an electrical anomaly.

At this point, you should be familiar with this anomaly and how to avoid it. Use the route on the right to reach the end of the corridor. After entering the next room, climb up the ladder. Head through the passage and open the door to exit the building and further the Uninvited Guests quest.

After exiting the building, head southeast to meet Mytryk near the hole you initially entered from. While conversing, you can choose to interrogate him about Eight-Ball. Mytryk will explain that he didn't murder Eight-Ball but wanted to steal his equipment to repay an overdue debt.

You can choose to either give the Decider back to him or keep it for yourself. You'll get his thanks if you choose to do the former, while he'll berate you if you opt for the alternative. That said, neither option will result in a fight. Complete this conversation to end the Uninvited Guests quest in Stalker 2.
