Stalker 2: How to defeat the invisible Bloodsucker and Poltergeist enemies

The events of the recently released FPS title Stalker 2 take place after a nuclear plant in Ukraine bursts into flames. This incident birthed many weird anomalies and monsters in the Zone. As you try to survive in this post-apocalyptic world, you'll have to fight many dreadful creatures, including some invisible enemies.

These enemies will be unseen until the very last second, and before you know it, they will attack and drain your health. But there is a way to fight them. Read on to learn how to win in combats against these invisible monsters in Stalker 2.

How to beat invisible enemies in Stalker 2

Even though there might be many invisible creatures in Stalker 2, at the time of writing, we've come across two such enemies that will make your journey even harder. The first invisible enemy you will encounter is during the quest There and Back Again. Named Bloodsucker, this enemy will stay invisible for the most part and will appear for barely a second just after attacking you.

This is why your best bet would be to stay in a closed area so you cannot get attacked from behind. Make sure to use the small window to attack and kill the Bloodsucker after it attacks you and gets visible for a short while. Listen closely to monitor its footsteps and weird noises that it makes to locate the Bloodsucker.

Only during the There and Back Again quest will you find another invisible enemy — Poltergeist. This one would be a lot more dangerous than the previous one as it can deplete your health drastically and can even kill you in just two hits. This enemy will throw corpses and other random objects at you. Considering the damage this enemy can deal, it's best not to fight Poltergeist.

However, there is one way you can get the Poltergeist out of your way. Look around and find a boat. Near this boat will be a small ladder. As you make your way up the ladder, there will be a small hole. Enter inside and you will find Poltergeist takes the form of a pile of rocks. In the hallway where you are standing, you will find a radio on top of a brown table. Interact with the radio and disable it.

As you disable the radio, Poltergeist will disappear and you can proceed with the quests. Refer to this guide for all the main and side quests from Stalker 2.
