Stalker 2: How to get the Hypercube artifact

The Hypercube is a legendary artifact in Stalker 2 that randomly spawns in the map of Chornobyl, with low chances of occurrence. That said, it is the ideal item to have during your quest to retrieve the Scanner. While its incredible effects are countered by its high radiation damage, you can equip other items that could reduce the amount of damage taken from artifacts.

The cube can be found in thermal anomalies inside the zone. Thus, you'll need to navigate the region carefully to not get smoldered to death. Also, exploit the save system to easily farm the legendary item.

Reach a thermal anomaly in the game, and maintain some distance from it. Make sure you're not too far, yet not enough close to trigger the anomaly to spawn artifacts. Get a quicksave here.

Then, use your artifact detector to zero in on an artifact inside the anomaly. Make sure to avoid the fire inside the anomaly. Once you find the location of an artifact, check if it is the Hypercube or not.

If it isn't, reload the quicksave and repeat the above-mentioned process. This is because every item spawned inside an anomaly is randomly generated each time you trigger it. Keep at it until you get hold of the titular item. The Hypercube is not easy to come by: however, at this point, it is just about endurance. It should not take more than 7-10 minutes to find the artifact.

The cube is an incredible artifact to have in the early hours of Stalker 2. It provides Maximum Buffs to Thermal Protection and Bleeding Resistance — both important stats to have — especially in the early game when you encounter thermal anomalies and get into frequent firefights.
