Despite being a brilliant game and witnessing success at launch, Stalker 2 hasn't been performing that well for PC gamers. After the "out of memory" errors and crashing issues, another problem has surfaced for many PC gamers: input lags and mouse acceleration while using a mouse.
Since Stalker 2 is a first-person shooting title, such delays can be deeply annoying. GSC Game World hasn't released a patch to fix this issue yet, but you can read further to learn how to potentially fix this problem.
Note: These fixes are workarounds and might not work for everyone. However, they are worth trying until we receive an official patch from GSC Game World.

Fixing input lags in Stalker 2
There can be numerous reasons, ranging from damaged cables to a software glitch, that can result in input delays while gaming. Some of the fixes that might help solve the issue are mentioned below:
Turn V-Sync off
If you have been playing competitive titles or shooting games for a while now, you might already be aware that V-Sync doesn't add anything to the gaming performance. Turning it off solved the input delays for many gamers. For this, open the Game Settings and Turn off V-Sync. If it is already off, turn it on once, and then turn it off.
Turn off DLSS or FSR
Frame generation is a technology implemented in recent video games. While it does provide some additional FPS, it is infamous for causing input delays in many games. If you are using an Nvidia card, turn off DLSS from the graphics settings. However, if you are using an AMD GPU, disabling FSR might do the trick.
Check the mouse cables and connections
Your mouse cable being damaged can also be the reason why you experiencing input lags in Stalker 2. Disconnect your mouse and reconnect it again after 30 seconds. While you are at it, try connecting the mouse to another port to ensure that the one you are currently using is not the reason behind the trouble.
Check for mouse's firmware updates
If you are using a mouse that works with dedicated software, open it and check for any new firmware updates available. Download and install them and check if the issue persists.
Switch your display resolution
Try switching to the Fullscreen [Exclusive] resolution if you are using another mode. Additionally, play around a little and check what resolution works best for you and solve the input lags.
