Stalker 2: Should you kill Shah or Roosevelt?

The world in which Stalker 2 takes place is pretty intense. To survive in this post-apocalyptic world, you will need to make some tough choices, and during the journey, you will also need to kill countless people. One such tough choice that you will encounter is during the 'King of the Hill' quest from the main storyline.

Here, you are supposed to find Nestor, the leader of another gang. Unfortunately, since you have no clue where to find him, you will seek help from Varan, who will ask you to kill either Shah or Roosevelt.

Who are Shah and Roosevelt in Stalker 2?

Shah and Roosevelt are both leaders of rival gangs that are in conflict with Varan, and to get any help from him, you need to eliminate one of them. Unfortunately, there has been no information about these two people in the game before this point.

This is what makes the decision-making process a little more difficult. Since you do not know anything about either of them, it doesn't really matter who you kill.

Who should you kill then and how?

If you decide to eliminate Shah, he lives west of Slag Heap. You can go in directly with guns out, or you can sneak inside his building. Another option that you have is to complete Huron's 'No Honor Among Thieves' quest. After you complete this quest in Stalker 2, Huron will lead you inside Shah's building.

Coming on to Roosevelt now, he also lives in the same area. However, to get access to his home, you will need to converse with Borodulin. After spending some time with him, you will be allowed inside Roosevelt's house.

Even though you can kill any of these two people in Stalker 2, there is an alternate path that you can take as well. Instead of killing Shah or Roosevelt, you can kill Varan. We suggest doing this because once you eliminate Shah or Roosevelt, Varan reveals himself to be a traitor who won't keep his word and just uses you for his dirty work.

So it is better you kill Varan instead. Don't worry you will still be able to continue further with the story.
