Stalker 2 walkthrough: How to complete A Heavy Burden side mission

A Heavy Burden is a side mission in Stalker 2 that can only be accessed if you choose a specific pathway during the Back to Slag Heap main mission. The quest takes place in the Wild Island region where you must deliver a container to Professor Lodochka. However, you will need to find the item first and also the spot where Noontiders made contact for the last time.

During the Back to Slag Heap main mission, you can show the Unusual PDA to both Col. Korshunov and Scar. The item can be found during the previous mission, Deal With the Devil. To begin A Heavy Burden mission, you have to choose the following options in the Back to Slag Heap mission:

• Do not show Col. Korshunov the Unusual PDA.
• Show Scar the Unusual PDA.

Following that, the Hot on the Trail main mission will begin, alongside A Heavy Burden side mission. The objective is to find the cargo to access the Noontide base later.

First, follow Scar's coordinates and navigate to the blue objective marker on the map. After reaching the location, you may have to eliminate some wild boars. Go toward the water and find Karim Cyclops' dead body between some rocks. Just beside it, you can pick up the cargo for Noontide.

Afterward, take the narrow path through the waters to reach the blue objective marker in the Wild Islands. You will be stopped at the gates as stalkers are not permitted to enter the Wild Islands region.

Now, you can show the cargo you picked earlier to get permission to enter. That's because the cargo belongs to Professor Lodochka and you are required to deliver it yourself. As you get the pass to enter the Wild Islands region, follow the objective marker to reach the laboratory.

Enter the laboratory and give Professor Lodochka the cargo to receive 1,350 Coupons as a reward. You can also him ask about Strider's whereabouts. Once you have finished speaking, the side mission, A Heavy Burden, will end.
