- Your first objective in this mission will be to disable four psi-beacons scattered across the Swamps. The first beacon is located at the Burnt Farmstead, atop a wooden watchtower. This area is heavily guarded by hostile soldiers and wild dogs, making it necessary for you to clear the threats before climbing the tower to deactivate the beacon.
- The second beacon is inside the Old Church, northeast of the Swamps. You must first defeat a Bayun, a dangerous mutant lurking in the church, and then navigate through a series of broken floorboards, ramps and platforms to reach the beacon, accessible via the roof.
- The third psi-beacon is found at the Pumping Station in the marshlands. This area is heavily fortified with enemy soldiers and a Controller, a psychic mutant that can manipulate your perception. You will have to proceed very cautiously and use cover as you climb a tower using ladders and ramps to reach and deactivate the beacon.

- The fourth and final psi-beacon is at the Second Vanguard, atop another watchtower. The climb to this beacon requires ascending a ladder near a broken-down tank, and once at the top, you can deactivate the final beacon.
- Now, you will have to locate Faust after deactivating all the beacons. You will have to reach the warren shack while fighting your way through a Chimera. Once at the shack, you have to continue to the Clear Sky Base, where you must enter a shelter to avoid the Emission.
You will trigger a cutscene with Faust inside the base after avoiding the emission, which will complete the mission.
You will receive a unique Deadeye Pistol, a powerful sidearm and the TOPAZ Scanner, a critical tool previously lost during the mission "There and Back Again,” as rewards after this mission.
