Stalker 2 walkthrough: How to complete All That is Left side mission

The campaign of Stalker 2 takes place in an area inspired by the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone, where a deadly nuclear reactor meltdown in 1986 caused mass radiation, rendering the area uninhabitable for humans. In the game, the Zone has been divided into different parts and regions, with unique NPC encounters set up across the map.

Among these is Mateus, who will provide you with the All That Is Left side mission, which takes place in the Chemical Plant area of the map. Below is a guide on completing this quest, and all the possible choices you can make to conclude the mission.

Completing the All That is Left side mission in Stalker 2

First things first, note that there is a prerequisite that must be completed in order to start the mission. It is to ensure the Ward Sensors were given to Captain Zotov during the "Needle in a Haystack" mission. Once complete, head toward the Chemical Plant, meet with Mateus, and speak with him.

He will ask you to acquire a specific artifact; accept the mission. Head south from the location to reach the marker, which is not too far from where Mateus is standing. Be prepared for some combat, however, as hostile Psy Dogs will attack you once you enter the compound.

Take them all out, and head in the direction of the quest marker. There is a lot of radiation and acid pools around, so be very careful. You will reach an area with metal grates at the bottom, with one being exposed. Head down via this one. Once there, make sure to take care of any enemies that are present. Next, go through the door with a brick outline and follow the path.

You will eventually reach a closed door, which you must proceed through. Turn left, and a slope will lead you onto a cemented wall with a curve to it. Head southwest and you should see the Soul artifact lying on the ground. Use the artifact detector if you are unable to see it.

Once collected, you will receive a transmission from Prof. Zaretskyi, who is interested in this artifact you have collected. While leaving, you can choose to speak with the Professor if you wish. Now, you have three possible choices to make, with each option being outlined below.

1. You can give the artifact to Zaretskyi, who will promptly give you 4,139 coupons for doing so. Returning to Mateus will have him dismiss you.
2. You can give the artifact to Mateus, who will reminisce about his friend, Budnik, who is the source of the Soul artifact. He will also transfer some coupons over to you and will be very grateful.
3. You can also choose to keep the artifact for yourself and sell it for a profit. Make sure to inform Zaretskyi and Mateus that you are unable or uninterested in dealing with them.

In any case, the mission will end after this.
