Stalker 2 walkthrough: How to complete An Invisible Threat mission

In Stalker 2, there are some parts of the campaign where you have to choose sides and loyalties to proceed. These influence the ending of the game and are dependent on your dialogue choices. In total, there are four endings, namely, Spark, Kaimanov/Project Y, Strelok, and the Ward ending.

In the mission "An Invisible Threat", your task is determined by the faction that you have chosen to side with earlier in the game and involves delivering an emitter to either the Spark or the Ward factions.

Completing the An Invisible Threat mission in Stalker 2

The objectives for this mission are determined by your choices from previous encounters — specifically, the choice you made between the Spark and Ward factions. This alters the quest's location. Below are the objectives for each route.

Take the emitter to Scar (Spark route)

Should the Spark faction be chosen earlier in the game as the means to get the preferred ending, the mission will start after completing the "Just Like The Good Old Days" mission. Here your target will be to deliver the emitter to Scar at the Rostok Depot.

Once you reach the quest marker at Rostok, a long cutscene with Scar and Star will trigger. When it concludes, this mission will end and you can start the campaign mission "Dawn of a New Day."

Take the emitter to the Chemical Plant (Ward route)

If the Ward faction is sided with, your mission will start once "The Hornet's Nest" has been completed. Your target will be to deliver the emitter to the Chemical Plant, where your first interaction will be with Major Dvoryankov. Once you have talked with him, follow the quest marker to reach Sergeant Ivalyov and receive a PSZ-20W Convoy armor.

Lastly, follow the marker to reach Colonel Korshunov in the meeting room, and you will also find Dr. Dalin present there. A fairly lengthy cutscene will follow, upon conclusion of which, the mission will draw to a close. This will also start the next mission, titled "Assault on the Duga".
