Stalker 2 walkthrough: How to complete Black Sheep side mission

There is a whole host of side missions to complete in Stalker 2, and completing them can be a great way to get some Coupons. Of these, Black Sheep is a side quest found while traveling through the Malachite region and involves some decision-making as well that can affect the eventual outcome of the mission, depending on whom you side with.

The mission also involves some combat, so make sure to have your shotgun and other weapons handy. Here's a guide on completing the quest in Stalker 2, and the decisions you can make while completing it.

Completing the Black Sheep side mission in Stalker 2

Reach the Malachite region, and the quest marker should pop up and guide you toward the STC Malachite compound. Follow the marker and head in, where two guards will stop you. Respond with "Does this count as a special permit?" or "I was at the Arc" to get through without trouble or having to pay your way in. Head inside, turn left, and walk a short distance to find Viktoria Dorozhnyuk.

Speak with her and select "A scientist at the counter?" to start the quest. She will ask you to assist her in finding two missing Stalkers named Blizzard and Lefty. Their locations will be marked on the map after the conversation ends, and you can even learn more about their missions by talking to Viktoria.

Blizzard

Head toward Blizzard's marker to find him being attacked by a Bloodsucker. Be prompt in saving him, as the Bloodsucker can kill him. Assist in his survival by joining the battle against the Bloodsucker, and upon taking it down receive his gratitude and 800 Coupons for your efforts.

If you take too long to defeat it, Blizzard will die. Alternatively, you can also choose to kill him if you wish to. In both these scenarios, you must loot his body and obtain the suitcase of Bones to bring back to Viktoria. The mission will not fail if any of these above options are chosen.

Lefty

Follow the map to Lefty's location, and you'll find the area littered with dead bodies. Walking close to them will see the corpses re-animate themselves to life, and you must take them down. Once done, find Lefty's body lying on the ground. Interact to acquire a flash drive.

Head outside and go west beyond the fences where you will see a pathway to a pier going out over the water. At the end of the pier is located a small machine with an antenna from which its data can be downloaded. The flash drive with the data is now ready for Viktoria.

After the interaction with both Stalkers, head back to Viktoria, interact with her, and offer the flash drive when prompted. Optionally, do the same with the suitcase of bones if that route was chosen for Blizzard's encounter. She will give you some Coupons for your efforts, and then inform you that there is no more work. Like clockwork, at the same time, Trachuk will call Viktoria asking for assistance.

Accept the offer to help out and reach Trachuk's location. Interact with him, and he will ask you to find a flash drive on the second floor of the nearby warehouse which contains precious data. Head inside the warehouse from the south-eastern door, and turn left to find a broken door acting as a small ramp leading up. Make sure to avoid the acid pools around you.

Mantle up the boxes and containers, and climb onto the beam adjacent to the wall of the warehouse. Traverse it, and reach the red beam, and cross it. Once crossed, head over the broken white pillars which act as a pathway over some containers. Facing west, you will notice a door on an upper level.

All the while, be mindful of the large bubbles, as they give you acid damage on contact, so consider destroying them. Use boxes and crates to mantle up to the beam once again, and reach the staircase with a broken walkway. Jump over it to reach the table with the all-important flash drive.

Claim it, and head back outside. However, you will now be faced with Sgt. Baturyn from the Ward, who will ask you to hand over the drive. If you side with the Ward, Baturyn will take the drive from you. Trachuk will be disappointed in you and so will Viktoria.

You can optionally choose to fight, and then strike a new deal with Trachuk, where he will explain the importance of the drive. Now, you can force him to give you an extra 2000 Coupons by talking to him. Optionally, if you kill Trachuk or he dies, you will have to take the drive to Viktoria yourself.

If you are presented with the option of "Wrong way, soldier!", you can simply show Baturyn a badge that will have him go away, and you can engage in the aforementioned deal with Trachuk. Once done, return to Viktoria at STC Malachite to end the mission.

If Trachuk is given the flash drive or killed and the flash drive is delivered to Viktoria by you, expect a reward. If the Ward is sided with, you will receive no rewards for this final stage of the mission, which concludes after the conversation with her.
