After completing the An Act of Mercy main mission, you can return to Pile Driver at the Red Forest region to access the Gray's Last Hunt side mission. Interact with Arkhyp Lichen and choose the prompt "I'm looking for work." He will then tell you about a mutant wreaking havoc on the wildlife and the Freedom group in the forest.

As Arkhyp asks you to deal with the mutant in exchange for rewards, accept his offer to start the Gray's Last Hunt mission. Now, you must navigate to the west to track down the powerful mutant. Alternatively, talk to Hornet after finishing the Dark Times mission to access this side mission.

Follow the blue objective marker to reach the required location in the forest. There, you can locate a mutated deer in the swamp area, the same creature Arkhyp mentioned earlier.

While the mutant may initially appear ordinary, it possesses considerable health, making it difficult to eliminate quickly. Furthermore, other mutants around the area, such as boars, dogs, and even rats, will simultaneously charge at you. Thus, a proper approach is essential for completing the task.

To begin, carry an ample supply of healing items and ammo in advance. If you have a sniper rifle, damage the mutated deer, as much as you can, from a distance, before being noticed. Afterward, approach the vicinity and navigate carefully to eliminate the weaker mutants.

When the deer is the only one left, use a prominent shotgun or an SMG in Stalker 2 to finish it.

The Gray's Last Hunt side mission will be concluded as the mutant dies. Soon after, you should obtain 18,895 Coupons as a reward. If not, return to Arkhyp and interact to receive the reward.
