Stalker 2's campaign takes you through an area inspired by the real-world Chornobyl Exclusion Zone. In the game, this is simply termed as the "Zone", and has been taken over by various factions, all of whom wish to establish their strength over the others. There are also many NPCs around the map, some of which can provide Skif with missions.
One such mission, provided by Sgt. Batalov, takes place within Camp Icarus in Zaton. He tasks you with helping ascertain the fate of three missing Wardens, though inevitably it is you who can choose their fate. This article presents a guide on completing this mission in the game.

Completing the Shock Therapy side mission in Stalker 2
Head to Camp Icarus, and you will find Sgt. Batalov sitting behind a desk in one of the buildings. Head up to him, speak to him, and he will mention that he is missing three of his patients whom he hasn't seen or heard from in a few days.
Once the dialogue ends, select the "Need some help?" prompt, followed by the "What do I need to do?" prompt to receive the dialogue prompt to start the mission.
Accept the mission, and ask him any more questions should you wish to. After the conversation ends, head to the nearby room to optionally scourge through the belongings of the missing wardens. Apart from a patrol route, there is nothing indicative of their present whereabouts in their belongings.
Once done, head over to Shevchenko and speak with Beard the trader. He will mention that he can provide you with the location of these wardens, though at the cost of 500 coupons. Upon paying him, the location of the wardens is disclosed to be the Canning Factory, found not too far from Camp Icarus. You could also choose not to pay him and find the location yourself, as shown on the map below.
Before entering the building, be combat-ready. The ground will be crackling with electricity, and the three wardens will immediately be hostile toward you. Be careful in dealing with them, as there are two outcomes here.
- Killing the wardens: If you kill the soldiers, Skif will mention the same to Batalov via the radio. You will receive fewer rewards from a dejected Batalov.
- Incapacitating the wardens: If you choose to shoot at their legs or such with a less powerful weapon, they will fall to the ground without being eliminated. Skif will mention this to Batalov on the radio, who will be rather pleased with Skif for finding them alive.
Head back to Batalov after choosing the soldiers' fate. Once you speak with him and claim your rewards, this side mission will conclude.
