Stalker 2 walkthrough: How to complete Taking Back What's Mine side mission

Set in a fictionalized re-imagination of the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone, Stalker 2's campaign takes you across a map overrun with radiation, anomalies, and many hostiles. While playing through the campaign, Skif will encounter several NPCs and characters. However, as expected from a wasteland, not every interaction is bound to be positive. One such mission is Escape from the Cage, where Skif has to break out of a prison cell he is being held in.

Like some other missions in the game, Taking Back What's Mine is a sub-mission within Escape from the Cage. Since he is trapped inside, all his items and equipment have been stashed away.

Completing the Taking Back What's Mine side mission in Stalker 2

Once you obtain the key from Dalin, unlock your cell door and speak with Zhora: hand the key to him when prompted to begin this quest. He will reveal that he overheard the guards speak about where the weapons were stashed and will send the location to your PDA.

If you wish to, claim the note from the table directly opposite Zhora's cell. Head southwest, where an open doorway will lead to a set of stairs. Keep going downstairs with haste until you reach a landing with a door, beyond which two guards are conversing.

Avoid encountering them and instead, walk down another flight of stairs until you see an open window. Jump out of it, reach the ground, and head west along the wall.

Turn right when the wall ends, and move along it. Follow the marker and head northeast to reach the building with the stash. Open the door and go inside.

Turn right and follow the path until you reach a large storeroom. In the southeast corner of the room is a safe. Interact with it to find it unlocked. Then, reclaim your items and leave the compound. This will end the mission.
