#4 Hub World and Melee Combat
Jedi Fallen Order is hugely inspired by FromSoftware titles such as Dark Souls when it comes to its combat and hub location.
Like in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, parrying and deflection play a major role in Jedi Fallen Order's "thoughtful combat".

Devs describe the lightsaber melee combat as not a button mashing combo feature, rather a more focused one shot kill to take down your enemies.
Players can parry the enemy's attack at the right time to trigger a counter one hit kill just like in Sekiro. The ranged attacks can be deflected/blocked as well, but deflecting at the right time will trigger a counter attack.
There will also be enemy attacks that can't be blocked just like in Sekiro. When an enemy goes red, players should expect an unblockable attack and dodging is the only path to avoid damage.
Jedi Fallen Order will also feature a hub world like the ones found in Dark Souls or Mass Effect games where players can talk to other characters, or explore. However Cal can't really drive the ship around, that feature will be strictly restricted to cutscenes.
#5 Difficulty options
Even though Jedi Fallen Order features a combat system similar to the Souls Borne game, don't expect it to be as brutal as those games, except perhaps at the highest difficulty.
Jedi Fallen Order will feature three difficuluty options at launch and the devs at Respawn insists that the highest of them will be similar to that of Souls game. Now ain't that interesting?
