Buying the JojaMart Membership is one of the two routes that you can take to complete the main storyline of Stardew Valley, the other being rebuilding the Community Center questline. Starting this route will destroy the dilapidated Community Center building and replace it with Joja Warehouse. It is a permanent change to your Stardew Valley save file so you will not be able to do Community Center bundles and claim its rewards.
Completing this route will require you to make donations to the Joja Corporation to unlock several upgrades in the valley. This guide will go over the entire JojaMart questline, unlockables, and rewards that you can receive by completing this quest.

At the beginning of the game, Lewis shows you the run-down Community Center building and mentions that JojaMart wants to purchase the old building and transform it into the Joja Warehouse. He has decided that he will only sell the building if one more person buys the Joja Membership.
If you decide to buy the membership, head to the JojaMart building in the eastern part of Pelican Town. Once inside, talk to Morris and purchase your membership for 5,000g to continue the JojaMart quest. Purchasing the membership will also reduce the prices of the items in JojaMart to match those of Pierre’s General Store.
Joja Community Development Projects in in Stardew Valley explained
Once you purchase the membership, the old Community Center building will be replaced by the Joja Warehouse on the next morning. Once the warehouse is in place, talk to Morris and you will unlock the Community Development Projects in Stardew Valley.
Completing this project unlocks various upgrades for the valley, similar to completing the Community Center bundle sets except for the friendship boost with NPCs.
However, unlike the item-hunting nature of Community Center bundles, the Community Development Project upgrades can be unlocked by simply donating the required money to Joja Corporation.
The following are all the upgrades you can unlock by donating to Joja Corporation:
Once you donate the required amount of money to Morris, you will get a cutscene of Joja Corporation’s crew completing the selected project.
Rewards for completing the JojaMart quest
After making the required donations and unlocking all the upgrades for the valley, Morris will hold a ceremony and thank you for your contribution to Joja Corporation. As a reward, he will also give you a Soda Machine that produces one Joja Cola every day.
There is also an achievement related to this route called the “Joja Co. Member of the Year.” Once you complete all of this, you can unlock the movie theatre in the valley by spending another 500,000g in the game.
Much of the charm of Stardew Valley lies in exploration, creation, and discovery, making the Community Center bundles a much more interesting questline. However, the JojaMart questline can be an equally interesting choice for subsequent playthroughs or if you dislike the item-gathering aspects of the Community Center quest.
