Stray Dogs in Escape from Tarkov is one of the boss-hunting missions that Jaeger offers to the players. Following the quest line, this task is one of the last ones that makes the players become eligible for the Kappa Secured Container task, “The Collector.” However, the bosses you need to eliminate, the Goon squad, have an abysmally low spawn chance making it difficult for the players to find them.

As stated previously, to complete Stray Dogs in Escape from Tarkov, you must eliminate the Goons, more specifically, Knight, Birdeye, and Big Pipe. Here are the objectives of the task, Stray Dogs:

How to find and eliminate the Goons?

Birdeye, Knight, and Big Pipe count as bosses and have abysmally low spawn rates. Moreover, they can spawn on several maps such as Shoreline, Lighthouse, Customs, and Woods, which means, players might have to look around for a while before encountering them.

In Shoreline, they can spawn at the Weather Station. Similarly, they can spawn outside of the Fortress in Customs, Scav bunker in Woods, and Lower Chalet or Water treatment plant in Lighthouse.

To find them, you can just load into any of the aforementioned maps and take a look around the area they spawn at. Another thing you can do to locate them is throw a grenade, be it a stun or a frag to get them to use their voice lines. If you hear English voice lines from the areas the Goons spawn in, you are in luck as you have found what you were looking for.

While fighting the Goons, make sure you have enough cover so you can't get shot by either Big Pipe or Birdseye from afar. Since Knight tends to rush the players he is aggro-ed on, try to shoot him down while he is running towards you. The best way you can do this is to either hold a door or corners, be it a building or rocks.

Additionally, Big Pipe usually stays behind Knight and follows him around wherever the latter is running towards, ready for him after eliminating Knight. Big Pipe doesn't wear any helmets, therefore, you should go for headshots for an easy kill.

As for Birdeye, you have to stay alert at all times as he doesn't have any footsteps. Since both of his teammates died, he will likely push towards you. When he does that, be ready to beam him down and you have secured yourself a victory.

After eliminating all three of the Goons, you are ready to complete Stray Dogs in Escape from Tarkov. Now you can loot the three bodies to get all the valuables and extract from the raid.

As for the ammo recommendations, you can use M856A1, M80, M62, .300 Blackout CBJ, and other ammo that can easily penetrate class five armor. Along with the ammo, you must use their respective weapons, or the weapon won't work/shoot.
