Following the popularity of Stardew Valley, a spiritual successor named Sunkissed City is on the horizon. Currently under construction by Stardew Valley co-developer Arthur 'Mr. Podunkian' Lee, this new life sim takes players to an urban locale over the quiet countryside of CountryApe's hit indie game. Boasting a much more densely packed universe over the iconic farming sim, Sunkissed City promises a vibrant world full of activities to do, colorful characters to meet, and more. Here's everything to know about the game.

Sunkissed City takes place in Apollo City, a sizable metropolis with something new around every corner. Players control a custom avatar who, as part of Pico corporation's "Peco Pioneer" pilot program, must mingle with the city's unique NPC inhabitants, get to know them better, and aid the company's eco-friendly cause.
However, things aren't right at first glance - aggressive wildlife and dangerous monsters lurk about. Can players hone new relationships while getting to the bottom of this mystery and save Apollo City? Just like Stardew Valley, the game boasts various features for all kinds of players to indulge in.
With a sandbox environment in place, players can either choose to kick back with pets at home and relax or explore various locales, from bustling suburbs and crowded alleys with shops to quiet parks and a sunkissed beach. There are many interesting NPCs to talk to and players can help them out by completing their quests to bond closer.
Additionally, there are various activities to perform for money making, including farming and fishing - which are also staples of Stardew Valley. The developer's expertise in helping out Stardew's creator Concernedpe should help them create a bigger and bolder experience full of new possibilities.
