There is no information regarding the in-game mechanics yet but expect it to be similar to the original Dr.Mario game. There is also room for Multiplayer battles which will make the game more fun and competitive. Games in this genre don't appeal much to the general crowd and are mainly built for leisure times. Candy Crush is one of the most popular games which is similar to this and has been successful. However, it gets pretty repetitive after some time as there is not much to explore.
Another Nintendo game Mario Kart Tour was scheduled to release this march but now has been delayed for the summer. It's unsure why the game was delayed but according to the statement "to improve the quality of the app and to expand the service content after delivery."
