Super Smash Bros. was released world wide for Nintendo 3DS on friday and had an overwhelming response. Up until now we did not have a release date for the game in any regions, but not only has the release date been revealed by Nintendo, they have also announced that the US will be getting the game before any other region this time, including Japan.
According to latest reports, the game is set to be released for the Nintendo Wii U platform on the 21st of November in the United States, followed by susequent releases in Europe and Japan on the 5th and 6th of December this year, respectively. Japan got the 3DS version three weeks before the release of the US version, which led to everything being spoiled for the US gamers way beforehand. Now, with US set to get the Wii U version before any other region, gamers from the US will get to know any exclusive features or characters from the Wii U version first. That is more of a balancing act than anything else from the developers.
The game shares its release date in the US with Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, which is hardly a month and a half away. Not a long wait, that!
