Supercell disables Brawl Stars Mega Pig event (July 2024): Everything you need to know

This month's Brawl Stars Mega Pig event began on July 19, 2024, at approximately 9:30 am UTC, offering four "Play with Clubmates" Special Quests for exclusive rewards. This three-day event, which typically occurs once a month, requires players to achieve victories in matches to fill the Brawl Stars Mega Pig associated with their clubs. Each party member is given 15 tickets to participate in the event. If the giant Pig is successfully filled, you and your partners receive substantial rewards.

However, due to matchmaking issues related to this event, the developers have decided to disable July's Mega Pig event after its release, causing frustration among players. This article provides all the details regarding the development.

Compensation for the suspension of the Brawl Stars Mega Pig event

To compensate for switching off July's Mega Pig event, Supercell is providing a free Mega Box that can be claimed from the in-game shop till July 31, 2024. It's important to note that the developers have reassured fans that they are working to fix the issue to make the content playable next month.

Additionally, Supercell is conducting the Classic Challenge, which was originally scheduled for July's last weekend. Due to a change of plans, it is currently available to play in place of the Brawl Stars Mega Pig event and will end on July 22.

Despite shifting the Classic Challenge to this weekend (July 19-July 21), players can still earn a Mega Box each day by collecting 12 Star Tokens from July 26 to July 29, 2024. These Star Tokens can be obtained in the following ways:

• Trophy game modes: Each Trophy game mode will provide a Star Token during the weekend, resulting in six daily Star Tokens from Trophy game modes.
• Classic game modes: You can earn an additional two Star Tokens from Classic game modes.
• Special Quests: Each day from July 26 to July 29 will feature four Special Quests that offer Star Tokens.

This means you can accumulate six Star Tokens from the Trophy game modes, two from the Classic game modes, and four via Special Quests. Acquiring 12 Star Tokens each day will earn you a Mega Box daily.

Benefits of collecting Brawl Stars Mega Boxes

The Mega Boxes unlock free rewards such as Power Points, skins, and Brawlers to boost players' in-game resources. Additionally, gamers who collect 10 Mega Boxes throughout the Classic Brawl event will unlock the exclusive Hypercharge skin called Sovereign Rico in Brawl Stars for free. This item usually costs 499 gems in the in-game store.
