Beryl is a Destroyer-class character in Sword of Convallaria of the Legendary rank. She excels in dealing long-range damage, making her one of the best DPS units to have in the game. Since she is a Destroyer class, she is strong against Breakers, Defenders, and Seekers, allowing flexibility in team comps.

Best skills for Beryl

Beryl is arguably the best DPS unit in the game, as of this writing. Since Castalia is a rare resource, it is important to unlock the skills on her skill tree very carefully to get the best out of her.

Here's a list of the best skills to unlock on Beryl's skill tree in Sword of Convallaria:

• RK1 - Wall of Flame: Beryl selects one spot within the cross-shaped range around her, dealing 70% AoE DMG to all enemies in the horizontal row of five tiles before changing the tiles into Burning. This effect lasts only two turns.
• RK3 - NRG Restoration: Beryl recovers one additional NRG at the end of a turn. If the NRG is less than one, she will recover an extra NRG.
• RK5 - Cutie: The damage received from a ranged attack and AoE attack are decreased by 25% and 40% respectively.
• RK7 - Flaming Meteor: Prepares for one turn. Once casting the skill, Beryl deals 140% AoE Fire DMG to all the enemies within three tiles around her position and skips the turn.
• RK9 - Bang!: Beryl deals Physical DMG equal to 80% of her M.ATK to a single enemy. Additionally, there's a 50% chance of stunning the enemy for one turn.
• RK11 - BOOOOM!: Beryl cannot move before performing this skill. When it is activated, she randomly attacks all the enemies within two tiles five times. Every hit deals 30% AoE Fire DMG within one tile of the target and has a 50% chance of inflicting Scorch.

By unlocking these skills, you can build a strong Beryl. She excels more against multiple targets, making her an amazing AoE DPS unit. That said, you can also unlock her First Aid healing skill if you have extra Castalia to spare since it is a nice QoL.

Best Weapons

Listed below are some of the best weapon options for Beryl:

• Resentment Broom: It increases the character's AoE DMG by 15%. Additionally, after dealing damage with an Active Attack, there's a 25% chance to apply Life Loss equal to 20% M.ATK of the target for one turn.
• Starry Sky Heritage: The character's HP is increased by 5%. Additionally, the unit gains an M.ATK bonus equal to 3% of their HP.
• Focus Staff: When in an Undamaged state, the maximum range of a single target skill is increased by one tile. Additionally, when attacking an enemy, M.ATK is increased by 3%.

Best Trinkets

Here are some of the best Trinkets for Beryl:

• Roaring Flint: Deals Piercing DMG with Fire attribute equal to 10% of the character's HP to all the enemies within two tiles of the target. This can only be used once in a battle.
• Fancy Hat: The character gains immunity to Disrupt. Furthermore, the unit's M.DEF is increased by 3% when it is Healthy.

Best Tarot Whispers

For the Tarot Whispers, you can go with the Dream of the Magician since it increases the character's DMG by 8%. Furthermore, when casting skills, each additional hit on an enemy increases the DMG dealt by 4%, up to 12%. Alternatively, you can use The Emperor's Majesty.
