After this year's LCK Spring Grand Final loss, T1 has now lost four consecutive LCK finals. Furthermore, the team also struggled a lot during the MSI this year because of the recent lane-swap shenanigans. Also, it seemed like Bilibili Gaming completely nullified T1 by banning all of Faker's strong Midlane champions.
It'd be interesting to witness how T1 has prepared following the MSI. They have a roster full of superstars and one of the best individual performers of all time. Thus, if the meta and champion adjustments favor T1 players, they have the potential to outclass each of the strongest LCK teams.
Meanwhile, Nongshim made a notable roster change before the LCK Summer 2024 Group Stage. The team's new support player is thirty-year-old GuGer, who previously played for NaJin Black Sword, Taipei Assassins, and more. Additionally, Nongshim has two Midlaners similar to the last season: Fisher and Callme.
Even with the new roster, Nongshim showed an underwhelming performance against FearX in their first LCK game this split. The only positive point was the team's Jungler, Sylvie. His Brand pick in the second game was impactful, even though they lost the series 1-2.
Prediction: T1 Esports is expected to win 2-0 against Nongshim.
Head-to-head
T1 and Nongshim played against each other 14 times. In those, the former was victorious 12 times, while the latter managed to win twice.
Previous results
T1's previous match was against Bilibili Gaming in the MSI Lower Bracket Final, where they lost the series 1-3.
