Personality of Tangy
As Tangy is a Peppy-type personality, she can’t help but be the life of the party. Always in a good mood and eager for a chat, Tangy is eager to become fast friends with the player. Refusing to be discouraged easily, Tangy does several things for hobbies, wishing to be a jack of all trades. As a Peppy type, she will get along with Lazy, Normal, Jock, Sisterly and other peppy personalities. However, she may come into conflict with cracky and snooty villagers.
Appearance of Tangy
Tangy is a unique villager due to the fact that she’s one of the few food-based villagers. Looking like her namesake, Tangy is an orange cat who looks very much like the fruit she’s inspired by. Having brown eyes, she has a green leaf on her head for hair.
How to get Tangy in New Horizons
Getting a villager you want in New Horizons is particularly tricky, as there is only one surefire way to do so, the rest is up to luck. There are two primary methods of getting Tangy in your village, the first is using Nook Miles to fly to an island and see if she is there. Keep in mind if you do this you’ll have to have an open plot available. The next is to wait and see if she’ll appear at your campsite. Either way, both methods are luck-based, so it’s completely up to chance.
Role of Tangy in New Leaf
Being in every Animal Crossing game, Tangy of course appears in New Leaf as a potential villager. Much like in previous entries, you can talk and build your friendship with her. Though in this game you can make her a cup of coffee.
Role of Tangy in Wild World
In Wild World, Tangy does much of the same as in previous games. You can have her move into your tow, talk, and send gifts and letters to her.
Amiibo Card
A guaranteed way to get Tangy on your island is to use her Amiibo card. Simply scan it with your Switch on the Town Hall. Keep in mind in order to do this you need to have both the Town Hall and Campsite constructed. Once you’ve invited her to your campsite, you simply need to do this three times and she’ll be part of your island!
