Adding a new layer of strategy, Marvel Snap is set to introduce a new ability: Activate. When a card with this ability is played, its primary effect stays hidden while it's on the board. To use this ability, players must tap and hold the card until the "Activated" message appears. Once activated, the card's main effect is triggered, serving as a powerful trump card.

Classic cards like Hellcow and Black Swan are being reworked to use this new feature.

Other new cards that will be introduced in The Amazing Spider-Season in Marvel Snap are given below:

  • Scarlet Spider: A clone of Peter Parker, known as Ben Reilly, Scarlet Spider enters the fray with his iconic blonde hair and sharp wardrobe. When activated, he creates an exact clone at another location, providing double the trouble for opponents. Cards like Nakia can be used to buff this clone, while Storm and Sandman can create synergies that will have your opponents scrambling.
  • Madame Web: As the blind seer of the spider family, Madame Web has the ability to move a card away from her location every turn. This ability can be particularly beneficial for move cards like Human Torch and Vulture, creating dynamic plays across the board.
  • Spider-Girl (Araña): Arana, a teenager with magical spider powers, can give the next card you play bonus power and move it to the right when activated. This ability is perfect for combos with Spider-Man 2099, enhancing your offensive potential.
  • Silver Sable: Known for her complex relationship with Spider-Man, Silver Sable makes her debut in Marvel Snap. Her ability allows her to steal two powers from the top card of your opponent’s deck.
