The Banner Saga is among four indie games newly confirmed for PlayStation 4.

Indie publisher Versus Evil has announced via the PlayStation blog that it is bringing four games from its catalogue to the PS4 in early 2015. The four games announced are Banner Saga, Arminkrog, Toren ,and Kyn.

The Banner Saga is a fun and a simply crafted intelligent and tactical RPG that allows you take command of a horde of vikings out to slay other vikings. The game received favourable reviews from critics. According to IGN, The Banner Saga was excellent both in its art and in its varied story which was full of meaningful choices. The reviewer also approved of the game's tough but rewarding combat system and it’s beautiful soundtrack.

Armikrog is a stop-motion claymation. It was announced earlier that Jon Hender, probably known best as Napoleon Dynamite is part of the cast.

Kyn is a tactical RPG from Holland. It is a single-player video game that mixes exciting team combat with an engrossing world worth exploring. Meanwhile, Toren is a dark fantasy adventure with both puzzles and treacherous enemies to defeat.

Although the confirmation has been made, there is no word yet on exact release dates or pricing.
