As the Casting of Frank Stone Chapter 10 begins, you will be given control of Chris. Depending upon the QTE result of Madi back in Chapter 8, he will emerge from the sarcophagus and meet Madi after having time-traveled to the present. This can only happen if Madi solves the problem in the green sarcophagus room packed with various equipment and completes the Quick Time Event.

Initially, Chris will mistake Madi for Bonnie since they share a similarity in their faces owing to their relationship. At this point, you will be offered two choices where you may either choose to stay Serious and inform her that Bonnie is Jamie's sister. Instead of this choosing Confused will cause Chris to clarify what she was doing before he arrived.

Following this, Stan will suddenly enter the green room while panting and asking to have his life saved. The sarcophagus machine will light up again with green waves going across the floor once again. It is here that you must choose whether Chris will hop back in to return to her timeline or not by choosing to either be Afraid or Hopeful.

Chris returns to the past in The Casting of Frank Stone Chapter 10 if you select Hopeful. Madi will attempt to activate the sarcophagus, but it will not function instantly. This is when Chris will attempt to take out a metal rod, causing a QTE to occur. Completing this QTE will allow Chris to enter the central chamber and go back to her timeline. This is a fate-altering event that causes major changes to the outcome of certain events.

However, in the QTE, if you are unable to remove the metal rod, Stan will assist Chris and they will pull it out jointly. Stan will then stumble and end up in a dangerous situation where Chris will then try to assist him. If successful, Madi will help Chris return to her timeline.

If you fail to assist Stan after he stumbles, you must choose to either help Stan or return to the sarcophagus. If you do not aid Stan, Madi will try to trigger the device when Chris enters the circle, but something will go wrong. This will transport Chris back to her timeline in 1980 while also altering Stan's fate.

If you opt to assist Stan, he will devote too much time to this, causing the circle to cease functioning. As a result, Chris will miss her opportunity to return to her back in 1980. This will be another major fate-altering event.

If you select the Afraid option in The Casting of Frank Stone Chapter 10, Chris will let others know that she is afraid of the entity she faced back in 1980 before being teleported to the present. This will also alter fate and strengthen her bond with Madi.

After Madi mentions Linda here, a QTE event will suddenly activate in the sarcophagus room. Failure will change the fate of the events drastically and Stan will be crushed to death. However, if you succeed in completing the QTE, Stan will live and thank Chris for saving his life.

At this point in the sarcophagus room, a strange hooded figure will emerge from the central chamber, making Madi and Stan flee the room in fear for their lives. If Chris loses the chance to return to 1980, she will exit the room alongside the others. However, if Stan died in the previous QTE, Chris and Madi will make their escape together.

Madi will perish if she fails the QTE twice in Chapter Eight after completing the sarcophagus chamber puzzle and Chris will find her body in The Casting of Frank Stone Chapter 10. In this situation, you must complete control over Chris, and you will be able to work towards operating the Sarcophagus to return to 1980.

Stan will, as usual, will enter the room just as you're about to leave, and become terrified by the events that occurred in this room. Stan will mention the sheriff and this is where as Chris, you will be able to make a choice. You can either be Insistent or Fearful.

Choosing Insistent will cause Chris to activate the switch, allowing the sarcophagus to function, and Stan will assist Chris in returning to her 1980 timeline.

However, if you choose Fearful, Chris will state she does not want to return because she is afraid of the entity she saw before getting pulled into the portal. Stan decides to exit the chamber, but something will activate in the room. If you fail the QTE, Stan will be crushed to death, and trying to save his life will allow you to alter fate.

If Stan is left alone, the mystery hooded figure mentioned above will appear and make Stan flee the room in terror. If Stan is dead, Chris will flee the room alone. However, if Chris spares Stan from death, the two will exit the room together. With this, we come to the end of The Casting of Frank Stone Chapter 10.
