The Great Tree and Legends: Genshin Impact photography event guide

Outside the Canvas, Inside the Lens: Dew-Kissed Chapter is a new photography event in Genshin Impact. During the event, you must fulfill some conditions before taking pictures of certain locations based on the commission and help Katagiri collect some reference materials for her paintings. The first objective of the event is called The Great Tree and Legends which requires you to take a photo of The Great Tree of Windrise in Mondstadt.

The first commission in the photography event is called The Great Tree and Legends. Here is a list of the conditions you must meet to take the photo:

• Photograph "The Great Tree of Windrise"
• Character is using Charged Attack

Complete any of the following objectives:

• Character wields the power of Anemo
• Character is from Mondstadt

You only need to meet one of the last two conditions to take the photo, which gives you a lot more options.

Here's a list of some characters from Mondtadt:

• Albedo
• Amber
• Jean
• Venti
• Sucrose
• Diluc
• Kaeya
• Eula
• Klee

Listed below are some of the Anemo characters:

• Venti
• Jean
• Sucrose
• Xiao
• Xianyun
• Kazuha

Take the photograph

Head to the location of the objective before interacting with the photo-taking spot and follow these instructions:

• Equip the event Kamera from the inventory.
• Switch to an Anemo or Mondstadt character (preferably Bow user).
• Move the camera until you see the 3 Photo-Taking points on the screen.
• Press Enter.

Using a Bow unit is preferable since you can hold the character in that position, making it easy to take the photograph.

• Hold the Charged Attack.
• Hit Z (gadget option) once you see green check marks next to all the requirements.

Doing so will capture three images. Note that you can claim the event rewards as long as you have met all the conditions in the first photo.
