Trailblazers should choose Aglaea over The Herta in Honkai Star Rail 3.0
We recommend getting Aglaea during the forthcoming Honkai Star Rail 3.0 patch due to multiple reasons.
Firstly, Aglaea follows the brand-new Path called Remembrance. This allows her to summon a Memosprite, which acts as a new character. Hence, she can easily deal more damage than most DPS units.
Secondly, Aglaea can deal True Damage to her adversaries. This means that each of her attacks will ignore the opponent’s toughness and directly deplete their health. Additionally, this allows Aglaea to fight against adversaries regardless of their weakness type.
Thirdly, the developers typically bestow new characters with overpowered abilities. Since Remembrance is a new Path, HoYoverse will likely do the same and release overpowered DPS characters following the same Path or introduce support units who grant mindblowing buffs to damage dealers.
However, the choice to pull for a 5-star character solely depends on each player and their account. Therefore, it's best to take a look at every single character and what they do before obtaining them.
Advantages of Aglaea over The Herta
- A slim chance of getting power crept compared to The Herta since Remembrance is a new playable Path.

- Aglaea can summon a memosprite.
Advantages of The Herta over Aglaea
- The Herta can easily fit into either Dual DPS or Hypercarry team compositions.
- This Genius Society member’s playstyle and abilities are easy to master compared to Aglaea.
- The Herta has access to more established supports whereas, Aglaea only has Sunday.
