#4 Tight and Precise Combat
No matter how good Fallout New Vegas was in the Roleplaying department, Its combat sucked, no matter how you look at it.
It felt clunky, cumbersome and even unresponsive at times.

Fortunately for us, that doesn't happen here. The combat in The Outer Worlds looks fresh, sleek and very precise and you would know that very well if you saw the gameplay video.
The folks at Obsidian confirmed that there will be a huge amount of weapons to choose from whether it be melee or ranged and the game will also feature a Diablo style loot style which to be honest is very common in RPG these days, but it will be interesting to see how Obsidian adapts this into their game.
Also, shooting won't involve cumbersome attributes like you gotta a shoot a legendary enemy more number of times just because of its a legendary enemy of a higher difficulty.( Looking at you Fallout 4 and The Division.) If you headshot an enemy with your gun, then that's it.
The enemy will definitely die, plain and simple.
#5 No Microtransactions and Loot Boxes
Yes, you read it right.
The Outer World will be a complete package from the beginning which won't feature any kind of microtransactions or loot boxes, yes you can't even buy cosmetic items from real life currency. Everything can be unlocked and upgraded in the game.
This is a great example set by Obisidan Entertainment, taking us back to the golden age of video game. I just hope more and more developers follow this example and make the Video game industry toxic free again.
