A new update for the famous Twich app on Xbox One will provide convenience to the Twich users in finding what they want to watch The new update will also use Xbox Live to associate real-time gameplay statistics with Twitch broadcasts. Thus if a viewer would want to watch a specific game stream, with specific stats, they can do so by cycling through different filters such as player stats, game modes, maps, player skill level, in-game activity, or progress. So instead of just searching 'CoD: AW stream' in Twitch, the app update now lets users tweak search parameters. This should hypothetically enable you to spend a match watching a Call of Duty stream broadcaster who holds the highest kill/death ratio.
Other examples we were given include instantly queing up for a Halo match based on who has the highest rank in Slayer mode or discovering Forza Horizon 2 players driving who are a specific type of car. Elsewhere in the update, Xbox One users can now view Twitch videos on demand, which allows Twitchers to watch past broadcasts at any time, irrelevant of whether the broadcaster is online or offline.
With a lot to offer, this update certainly brings out the hopes of the Xbox Twitch users. Hence we await its release.
