Since its open beta was launched for PC owners, Concord on PC seems to be having serious trouble. While a low player count on Steam had already painted a negative picture before release, now its poor optimization on PCs has players concerned as well. So much so, that they believe PlayStation's 5v5 first-person shooter will eventually flop upon its launch.

In a Reddit post, a player named u/MoarGhosts expressed major disappointment towards Concord after experiencing poor performance on their PC despite having high-end, capable hardware. Here's what they wrote:

"This game will 100% flop if PC performance isn't addressed ASAP (very high end PC)"

After playing for over 10 hours, the Redditor felt that the game was not properly optimized to run on PCs, especially compared to PS5 consoles. They pointed out that the issue is serious, given that even high-end PC devices aren't able to run it as intended.

Other Redditors also agreed with the original poster. One user named u/ChenGuiZheng wrote that the game needs at least 12 months to get better before releasing for PCs.

Since it's already having a very low number of active users on platforms like Steam, the game won't be able to survive for long after its debut next month on PCs.

It is high time Firewalk Studio's team addressed the situation of its ambitious 5v5 Multiplayer game and resolved the optimization issues for PC players.
