In Apex Legends, team compositions play an important role in every match that players load into. With 26 Legends in the Battle Royale title, there are countless team compositions players can build, play, and experiment with. However, not all team compositions define the meta, which means their pick rate is usually significantly lower than most.

The launch of the Apex Legends’ new Season 22, Shockwave, brought several Legend buffs and gameplay changes. The most notable ones were the Controller class buff, Vantage buff, and Crypto lvl two EVO perk changes.

With these sets of buffs to these underrated Legends, the developers have opened up a new team composition that can absolutely dominate every match in Apex Legends Season 22.

The launch of Apex Legends Season 22, Shockwave, tweaked Crypto’s level two EVO Perks. Now, players can choose to become invisible when they control Crypto's drone. This new buff helps the Legend become stealthier when traversing through enemy territory.

Vantage, on the other hand, received a buff regarding her ultimate ability. Now, Vantage deals an exceptional amount of damage when hitting the marked target with her Ultimate's sniper rifle. Moreover, the LoS restriction of her Tactical has been lifted, making her a strong character in the game.

Lastly, all Controller Legends received a massive buff that allows them to gain an extra 25 shields when they are in the ring. This buff allows all the Controllers, especially Wattson, to be quite strong when they are inside the zone.

While players may consider this the right team composition to fortify a building or a space and play for the end-game rings, they are not quite right. Wattson will always be scanning the Ring Console to know where the next ring will be, while Crypto will be scanning the Beacon to scan the nearby enemies in the ring.

When all the Legends of this team are in the ring, both Crypto and Wattson start pushing towards the enemies and eliminate them while Vantage snipes them from a moderate distance. When being aggressive, Crypto uses his EMP to stun the adversaries and push them while Wattson follows him. The latter’s job here is to fence the area up and trap the enemies in a spot.

When the adversaries are trapped, Vantage can snipe them down and potentially eliminate all of them. On top of this, Wattson can carry a significant amount of Ultimate accelerants to make sure all her allies have their ultimate abilities at their disposal.

Following this playstyle in Apex Legends, this team can easily eliminate all the teams in the ring while also being a menace to the teams that are rotating into the zone.
