Moonton Games announced Yin and two other hero reworks in MLBB Project NEXT update 2024
Moonton Games has announced some new hero reworks that have got all the community members hyped up. The upcoming Yin, Ling, and Yu Zhong revamp has promised to bring not only animation changes but also some adjustments to their appearance and storyline adjustments to reflect the design of the Cadia Riverlands in these heroes.
Yu Zhong
Yu Zhong's new appearance has made his human form a perfect blend of the human and the black dragon. However, his dragon form has amplified the power and aggression of the champion.
While the new detailed patterns on his legs, and the horns in his dragon form reflect the design of the Cadia Riverlands, the Dragon's Claws on his cloak have been sharpened, and a red pupil has been added to the champion's shoulder armor mirroring the piercing gaze of a dragon.
As the Narrative Designer has said, in these hero reworks in MLBB, the revamped story of Yu Zhong has also been tweaked and will now revolve around the world called responsibility. The new voiceover of the hero also reflects the same.
New voiceover for Yu Zhong's human form:
"Justice... a pretty word to fool the weak."
New voiceover for Yu Zhong's dragon form:
"There is no right or wrong, only power and the will to wield it"
Ling
The top-tier Assassin in the current meta tier list and probably the only one to jump over the walls, Ling is also going to receive one of the hero reworks in MLBB this season.
As the concept artist mentioned, the developer focused on providing Ling a sleek look to reflect his epitome of finesse nature. The tip of his sword in the new rework mirrors a bird's head while the sword blends perfectly with Cyan Finch's tail feathers, making it look like Cyan Finch is constantly hovering over the hero keeping an eye on his strikes.
The designers really reinforced the Cyan Finch element from his backstory as the clothing fastenings now resemble a bird's claw. Moreover, a feather of Cyan Finch pattern is adorning the chest of the unit.
The character designer on the other hand has made some other interesting changes to his first skill. While the stats for his skills remain unchanged, each of his leap's animations will now change depending on the distance.
Ling's new story now revolves around "freedom."
New voiceover of Ling
"Let the wind guide me"
"Still waters run deep"
Yin
The Cadia Riverlands has finally created a bond between Yin and Lieh, making the unit even more dangerous in any form, as promised by the developer in the upcoming hero reworks in MLBB. Post the rework, the Cadia Riverland's visuals are bound to portray the Evil Gord within him.
The bandages coming from the right shoulder of his human form will signify the power sealed within him while the scarf on his neck captures the essence of Lieh, the Evil God.
While Yin's face in the human form still captures his innocence perfectly, the new design of Lieh looks incredibly evil, but amazing at the same time. A new eye-like design on his chest and bracelets, and the addition of the color black to his costume make him look amazing.
The new countdown effect added to Yin's ultimate will keep the players informed about the time left before the ultimate burns out.
Yin's voiceover has not been changed a lot in this update, and players will still be able to hear "This is getting exciting" in his youth-like voice in the trickiest in-game situations even after the upcoming hero reworks in MLBB.
