Barbara and Kokomi by far make the most out of TTDS. Both characters have %HP scalings in their kits that encourage building as much HP as possible in order to maximize their healing, and in Kokomi’s case thanks to how her burst works, also improves her damage as well. TTDS is more than good enough for characters like Mona or Lisa as well if you’re alright with sacrificing their personal damage potential in exchange for boosting their supportive capabilities as high as possible.

When the character using TTDS is switched off of the field, whichever character is switched into will receive its buff. TTDS’s %ATK buff only works on the BASE ATK of the target it switches into, not its TOTAL ATK. The buff will last the full 10 seconds even if you switch the buffed character back out and they will keep the bonus off the field as well
Is Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers good?
In terms of damage, there are far better options for just about everyone with the exception of Kokomi because of how her burst works in her kit. In terms of supporting teammates however, there are very few if any other catalysts that even come close to TTDS’s utility in the sheer strength of its %ATK boost.

Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers is one of the best supportive catalyst options in the game, providing a large amount of utility for a relatively common 3 star weapon. Even late into the game can you find uses for it on your characters if you are looking to maximize the damage of your main DPS characters as much as possible. For this purpose, it beats out many 4 and even 5 star catalysts.
