The PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2024 came to an end on December 8 with South Korean team Dplus KIA emerging as the champions. The experienced lineup performed phenomenally throughout the event. The Grand Finals was played between 16 teams from December 6 to 8 in London, the United Kingdom.

The total prize pool of the championship was $3 million. RCB from Turkey emerged as the first runner-up and missed the title by only one point. Nigma Galaxy was the second runner-up of the PMGC. Many players impressed viewers with their stellar performances in the Finale. Let’s look at five players who excelled at the tournament.

QXZZZ from South Korea’s DRX Gaming was phenomenal in the Finals. He alone claimed 25 eliminations and 5,714 damage in 18 matches and was fifth in the FMVP rankings. He played a crucial role in his team and helped secure sixth position in the overall standings. He also had a great run in the League Stage.

QXZZZ debuted in the esports scene in 2021 and has shown his skills in many tournaments. The 21-year-old star will now aim to claim major titles in the upcoming 2025 season.


4) Narvalow

Narvalow from Nigma Galaxy played impressively in the Grand Finals. He ranked fourth in the FMVP scoreboard with 31 frags and 5,768 damage. The player shouldered his team to earn a podium in the PMGC 2024. His team finished third in the Finale with 137 points and two Chicken Dinners.

Nigma Galaxy had a slow start to the Finale but gradually improved its results in the last two days and claimed a respectable spot in the event. Narvalow also played brilliantly in the PMPS Korea S3 this year.


3) Cyxae

Cyxae from DRX was the third-best individual performer at the PMGC 2024 Finals with 17 eliminations, 6,766 damage, and 20:36 survival time. He and Qxzzz, the duo, showcased their strength in this international event. The team secured 109 points alongside 66 kills and one Chicken Dinner.

DRX entered the PUBG Mobile scene in June 2024 by acquiring the Duksan Esports roster. The organization has witnessed a decent run in the past seven months.


2) Loxy

Loxy from RC Bra was outstanding in the Grand Finals as he finished second in the FMVP leaderboard. Unfortunately, his team fell short by a single point of winning the PMGC 2024 title. He alone dismissed 34 players in 18 matches. He amassed 11 kills in the Grand Finals. The Turkish star attracted everyone’s eyes with his top-notch performance at the event.

Loxy began his esports journey in late 2021 and joined RC Bra in early 2022. Under the leadership of Sylas, he has showcased outstanding performances in the past few years.


1) Nolbu

Nolbu from Dplus KIA played exceptionally well in the Finale and helped his team clinch the PMGC title. He emerged as the FMVP with 34 eliminations and 8,053 damage.

Dplus KIA scored 153 points in the Finale and topped the table thanks to Nolbu’s exploits. The popular squad lifted its first international trophy in the PUBG Mobile scene. Nolbu kicked off his esports career last year and has demonstrated exceptional skills in many majors. Notably, he has won four MVP awards in a year.


With the conclusion of the PMGC, the 2024 season of PUBG Mobile also comes to an end. Tencent has already announced the roadmap for the 2025 Season. Teams from around the world will now prepare themselves for the next edition of the Global Championship.
